ALL Little Blue House workshops are “MAKE AND TAKE”

Whatever we've prepared in class, you get to take home to enjoy. Everything you take home is designed to serve 4 adults, and are freezer friendly!

Workshop Menus

Typically workshops cover a theme of FIVE related recipes:
1 Made from scratch Soup, Appetizer or Side Dish
3 Unique Entrees
And 1 Sumptuous Dessert

Some Workshops Are Single Subject Classes

There are annual Pies Baking workshops in the fall, and a Pre-Holiday Cookie Baking Marathon in winter. On occasion we have guest chef's teach a special class, and there are always new ideas percolating for exciting and timely workshops.

Fees Typically Range from $65 to $95 and are ALL INCLUSIVE

Where are The Workshops Held?

The Workshops are conducted in the fully licensed commercial kitchen of the former Little Blue House Restaurant, 706 SW Third Street in Ankeny. (in the Uptown Neighborhood)

Who is Deb?

Deb Cazavilan, has been cooking professionally for nearly 30 years.

From her early beginnings training at the famous east coast landmark “Alices Restaurant” (you may be too young to remember that era!) to eventually owning her own restaurants (the former Little Blue House, and Cappuccinos Cafe and Sweet Shoppe, both in Ankeny).

She has also enjoyed several other “foodie” businesses over the last decade: Just Desserts, and her current family-meal catering service, A Chef of Your Own, as well as teaching culinary workshops at The Little Blue House.

Registration Policy
Prepaid registration is required to attend all workshops.
We accept all major credit cards, checks or cash.

Location
All workshops will be held at 706 SW Third St., Ankeny Iowa unless otherwise noted. Please Click Here for a map of the area.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds will be given for cancellations made 3 business days or more in advance of the date of that particular workshop.

For later cancellations, or failure to attend a reserved workshop, the food will be cheerfully prepared by The Little Blue House Staff, and arrangements may be made for later pick up.
